0x800CCC78 - SMTP_REJECTED_SENDER - Unknown sender. This is caused by having the incorrect e-mail address in the Reply-To field.
Hope that this helps you... Laughing

The quickest way to verify that is to verify if the email does indeed exist. You can do this by sending an email message to the refered email adress through the webmail. If after sending you get the MAILER DAEMON error message that the recipient doesn't exist the problem is solved. If you manage to send the email message correctly to that recipient,it will necessary for the client to verify if the recipient email adress has any filters activated or if it has his email adress in a blacklist. This situation happens with various email adresses or only with one?

You must have the option "My SMTP server requires authentication" selected. Also, tell the client to delete the email adress and insert it again.Normally the clients mispell the email adresses.

another thing I've found helpful is to have the user type the e-mail address in notepad or word. They normally can notice their mistakes in a different medium.

On the Outlook Express page, go into Tools, Accounts, Properties, Advanced. If the server port Number for Outgoing Mail is 25, try changing it to 587. I had the same 0x800CCC78 error message for ages and could not send emails. However, this seems to have cured my problem.

Good luck!
